Our 1064 Nd:Yag (same as the Cutera Nd:Yag 1064 or the Medlite c6 Q Switched laser) is an ideal laser for treating rosacea, freckles, sunspots and pigmentation.

Our 1064 laser is optimal for skin toning. The signs of aging can be corrected with a course of Laser treatments: improving skin colour, texture, pore size and laxity.

Non-ablative laser skin toning improves the quality and texture of the skin through the subtle heating of dermal layers, which stimulate collagen regeneration. Combining Laser toning and fragmentation of uneven pigmentation assists in evening the skin colour and texture. The result is a gradual, natural improvement through a series of treatments which cleanses pores, reduces pore size; improves fine lines, wrinkles and acne, leaving the skin vibrantly rejuvenated.

This is an ideal laser option for safe treatment of both epidermal and dermal pigmented lesions and a great choice of treatment to treat age spots, freckles, solar lentigos, café-au-lait lesions, Melasma, Chloasma, and liver spots efficiently and effectively making a dramatic difference in the quality of life for patients and is becoming increasingly popular for being non-invasive with less side effects comparing to other laser options.

1064 nm wavelength is a treatment of choice for darker skin patients with less hyperpigmentation incidents, and responses from both practitioners and patients are fair-to-good improvement noted in most cases. Mild, transient erythema, hypo-pigmentation, and hyperpigmentation can be noted but can be resolved fairly quickly without any textural changes, scarring, or other side effects.

1064 nm Q-switch YAG, can also be chosen as a powerful toning, firming, and re-vitalising skin treatment (laser toning) on any part of body area with a weekly or fortnightly session intervals.

Treatment Risks

  • Any laser has the risk of hyperpigmentation if you expose the areas treated to sunlight. The sun is very strong in Bali and you must wear SPF 40+ every day on all the areas treated and stay out of the sun and cover up. We are not responsible for any problem with hyperpigmentation, this is caused by exposure to the sunlight, not by our lasers.
  • Dark and tanned skins are best not to be treated with laser. Even bottle bronzer or self-tan is not to be used prior to any laser treatment.
  • Just 1 session will not guarantee your skin issue will resolve. You usually need around 4-6 sessions, depending on the particular skin issue and how resistant it is to the laser treatment.
