After confirming your treatment, our therapist walks you to the massage room, freshly prepared for you. You are given a robe and disposable underwear to change to before your treatment. There are 4 different oils that you can choose from and. Each aroma has different benefits:
- Eucalyptus– healing your body inside and outside
- Lavender – deep relaxation and stress release
- Green tea – antioxidant and anti-aging
- Lime and ginger – balancing your body and mind
Firstly, you receive a mineral foot wash with salty water. Once conforming the hardness of the pressure, the therapist starts your deep tissue massage.
Deep tissue massage starts with your back and finishes with an energizing head massage. The therapist goes through each body part, and you have the choice to focus on some parts or points more if needed. During the treatment, our therapist confirms the focus points with you. It is important to tell the therapist when they hit a tender spot and if any discomfort you experience is outside your comfort range. Due to the focused nature of the session, the treatment can become intense at times.
Afterwards, you are walked to the shower where you can refresh yourself and change back to your clothes.
Occasionally there is some stiffness or tenderness after a deep tissue massage, but it should subside within a day or so.
