What is Teosyal® RHA 4

Teosyal® RHA (Resilient Hyaluronic Acid) is a new line of dynamic dermal fillers that is specially designed for the mobile areas of the face. The purpose of the new formula is more than just fading wrinkles and restoring volume – to give the face a natural appearance. While other fillers can fulfil expectations on the face in a static way, they are not designed to be suitable for facial movements. Teosyal RHA is a perfect solution for treating these areas.

The technology of Teosyal® RHA 4

Being a hyaluronic acid-based filler, Teosyal® RHA works similar to other products, but is created with a twist – hyaluronic acid is going through an innovative patented manufacturing process, thus making it dedicated to facial dynamism. RHA is designed to stretch and resist even under harsh stretch conditions, in order to meet both the clinical and personal needs. The formula can be injected into all areas of the face and neck where they get completely absorbed by the skin.

The treatment is suitable for:

  • Nasolabial wrinkles

  • Forehead furrows

The Results of Teosyal® RHA are immediate and typically require only one initial treatment to achieve the final results. Effects usually last between 9 and 18 months, depending on the Teosyal product used and on customers’ features.

The results of Juvederm® Volite can personally vary and are not permanent, so we recommend repeating the treatment in every 6–9 months.

Is Teosyal® RHA safe?

Since hyaluronic acid is naturally present in the skin in a certain amount, the 100% hyaluronic acid-based Teosyal® RHA is an absolutely safe treatment and side effects almost never occur. What else, it actually hydrates the skin and promotes healthy function of the skin while restoring lost volume. Although, like most medical skin treatments, it must also be performed by a qualified doctor who not only has professional hands but artistic skills as well.

Before the treatment

Just like in case of all filler treatments, it is key to inform your practitioner about all your medication history and the current drugs you take. Aspirin, anti-inflammatory drugs and anti-coagulants are recommended to be avoided a week prior to the treatment.

After the treatment

After the treatment, it is advised not to wear makeup for at least 12 hours and avoid both sun exposure and extreme heat (i.e. sauna, steam room etc.) for a week. For a period of 72 hours post-injection, staying away from drinking alcohol, doing physical activities or taking a plane is likewise suggested.

Aftercare Instructions

To ensure optimal results from your Teosyal RHA 4 treatment and support a smooth healing process, please follow these aftercare guidelines:

Immediately After Treatment

  • No Touching: Avoid touching, rubbing, or applying pressure to the treated areas for at least 6 hours post-treatment.
  • Makeup: Do not apply makeup for the first 12 hours to reduce the risk of irritation or infection.
  • Cleansing: After 6 hours, you may gently wash the treated area using a mild cleanser and lukewarm water. Avoid scrubbing or harsh skincare products.

For the First 24–48 Hours

  • Swelling and Redness: Minor swelling, redness, and tenderness are normal. These effects usually subside within a few days. You can apply a clean cold compress to the treated area for 15–20 minutes at a time to help reduce swelling.
  • Avoid Heat and Sun Exposure: Refrain from sunbathing, tanning beds, saunas, hot tubs, or any intense heat exposure. Use sunscreen with SPF 40+ to protect the treated area.
  • No Alcohol or Exercise: Avoid strenuous activities, alcohol, or anything that might increase blood flow to the face, as this can worsen swelling or bruising.

For the Next 7 Days

  • Avoid Irritants: Do not use exfoliants, harsh cleansers, retinoids, or strong active ingredients (such as AHAs or BHAs) on the treated areas.
  • Gentle Hydration: Apply a gentle, non-comedogenic moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated. Avoid using overly rich creams that could clog pores.
  • Bruising Support: If minor bruising occurs, topical Arnica cream can help reduce its appearance. You can find Arnica in pharmacies or natural health stores.

General Notes

  • Healing Time: It may take up to 7–14 days for the treatment to fully settle and show final results.
  • Firmness or Bumps: Mild firmness or small lumps in the treated area are normal and will resolve as the product integrates naturally into the skin. You may gently massage any visible bumps after 48 hours, only if instructed by your practitioner.
  • Sunscreen: Always wear sunscreen with SPF 40+ daily to protect your skin and prolong the results.
