Your visit
We begin with a conversation about your health, medicines and allergies, to be sure the formula suits you.
Then a small cannula, a thin, flexible tube, goes into a vein, usually in your arm.
We watch how you feel as it runs, then take the cannula out.

Aftercare
- Expect a small dressing on your arm, and a little tenderness or bruising that passes.
- Drink water afterwards and keep the rest of the day easy.
- Contact us if anything unexpected develops afterwards.
On the day, some people feel more hydrated. Any visible change takes longer, and this drip cannot promise clearer skin, faster hair growth or stronger nails.
Results vary from person to person.
A little bleeding, a sore vein, dizziness or nausea can follow, and these soon pass. Infection and allergic reactions are less common, as are complications from the fluid.

If you are pregnant, or could be, please wait. This drip contains retinol, a form of vitamin A, and too much vitamin A can seriously harm an unborn baby.
Before your visit
- Tell us what you take, including supplements, and about any kidney or heart condition.
- Say if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Say if you are having cancer treatment or take blood thinners.
- Eat something and drink water before you come.
- Please tell us if you take isotretinoin or another retinoid, a medicine related to vitamin A.
- Tell us about blood thinners, as vitamin E can raise the risk of bleeding with some.
Collagen needs vitamin C
Your skin needs vitamin C to make collagen. Like vitamin E, it is an antioxidant as well.
Vitamins A and D do their work inside your cells, and the B vitamins help turn what you eat into energy.
