Laser light, a little at a time
Laser timeA few minutes
The Quanta Youlaser MT carries Shelase, a gynaecological scanner that pairs an ablative 10,600 nm fractional CO₂ laser with a non-ablative 1540 nm wavelength.
The CO₂ light leaves microscopic treated points in the vaginal lining, while the 1540 nm light heats tissue at another depth.
As the lining heals, it can renew itself and remodel its collagen over time.
Dryness, discomfort, laxity and urinary symptoms can have different causes, so your doctor looks for yours first. The settings then follow what they find.
On the day
In the Legian laser room, your doctor eases the scanner into the vaginal canal and moves it a little at a time, so the laser reaches each section.
It takes a few minutes. Most women feel warmth, pressure or mild discomfort, and need no anaesthetic.
Where it can be used
- Internal vaginal canal
- Vaginal opening
- Selected external vulvar tissue
- Specific areas identified during examination

- Use a pad, not a tampon, for any spotting, and keep the area clean and dry.
- Please contact us about unexpected bleeding, worsening pain, unusual discharge or symptoms that do not settle.
Results
Results fromGradually, as the tissue heals
For 24 to 48 hours you may notice light pink discharge or spotting, with some warmth or tenderness. Changes then build slowly over the following weeks.
Your doctor decides after the first session whether more would help, and later whether to top up.
We cannot promise tightening, better sensation, more lubrication or fewer urinary symptoms. Some women find the tissue more comfortable, and others notice little change. Results vary.
Questions people ask
LVR is a broad marketing term for laser treatments of vaginal or vulvar tissue, and Diva-Tight is one of them.
Energy-based vaginal treatments are still being researched. The US FDA has said their safety and effectiveness have not been established for menopause symptoms, urinary incontinence or sexual function.
It is not a proven treatment for leakage. Please have it checked first, as pelvic-floor therapy, lifestyle changes, medication or specialist care may be better for you.
Please wait about seven days, or as long as your doctor advises. The same week applies to tampons, swimming, baths and internal products.
