Anti-wrinkle Injections are used for improving frown lines, smoothing fine wrinkles, face reshaping, reducing excessive sweating, and chronic migraine. It is made from a muscle relaxing protein made from a toxin (botulinum toxin type A) produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum; it works by relaxing overactive muscles by temporary paralysis of the injected muscles.
Anti-wrinkle Injections can inject into the affected area where inappropriate muscle contraction is a problem, usually in a series of micro-injections.
The required amount is unique to each patient and not dependent on age, severity of problem, and gender. No amount is standard for any particular injectable area, although we may always use the same amount to start a new client with.
In general, a response (on small muscles) is expected within 3-5 days. For large muscles, a response is expected within one month. No matter what reason for using botox, the effects will wear off in about 2-6 months before the injection needs to be repeated.
We recommend that you move the affected muscles repeatedly to diffuse the Botox effectively. Do not physically manipulate your face e.g. massage and refrain from lying down in the first 90 minutes after the procedure.
