Customised Skin Peels
Medical strength peels work by physically removing the topmost layer of skin, encouraging the production healthy skin cells. Sun-damaged and hyper-pigmented cells are exfoliated, while new collagen also plumps the skin from underneath, smoothing out fine lines and indented scars. Face peels can also help treat skin prone to pore blockage and acne by reducing debris overload.
How skin peel works?
A typical customised peel (light peel) will take about 30 minutes. A topical numbing cream will be applied to maximise comfort. The peeling effect will take place 2 days following the treatment, just like you had too much sun for a day. Microdermabrasion or Dermaroller may be recommended prior to a peel for deeper penetration of the peeling agent when deeper peels are required.
What To Expect of skin peel
Best results will be seen 2 weeks following a treatment session. It is important to continue with proper follow-up care – proper cleansing with a daily moisturiser and sunscreen goes a long way. Annual treatments may be necessary for maintaining results.
Salicylic Skin Peel
A gentle yet effective introduction to skin peels. Designed to smooth the skin, reduce congestion and help fade hyperpigmentation this peel will gently remove dead skin cells with no downtime whatsoever.
Used as a chemical peel, salicylic acid can be a very effective treatment against many different types of skin conditions. At the forefront, salicylic acid peels are used to dramatically reduce the appearance of acne and scars associated with the condition. However, salicylic acid peels have also proven to be effective against blackheads, whiteheads, signs of premature aging, wrinkles, calluses, psoriasis and uneven skin tone in general. In short, salicylic acid peels quite literally remove damaged skin to reveal the healthier and more aesthetically pleasing skin underneath.
Salicylic acid peels work by removing excess sebum (facial oil composed of wax, lipids and dead cells) along with attacking bacteria deep within pores.

While benefits will be noticeable directly after the first use, salicylic acid peels are generally performed 4-6 or more times on different occasions, depending on how severe a skin condition may be.

Glycolic Skin Peel
The glycolic peel is one of the most commonly used chemical peels today. Using low concentration glycolic acid peels usually leave no side effects.
The process of using the peel is quite simple. A chemical solution, made up of glycolic acid and other components, is applied to your skin. This skin treatment causes your outer layer of skin to eventually blister and fall off, revealing the fresh and regenerated skin below. After using a glycolic peel, your skin may turn reddish and become more sensitive to sunlight, so it is advisable to use SPF40 until the skin completely heals. After a brief period of time, however, you can go out in the sun just as you were accustomed to.
Rather than changing or damaging your skin, it merely facilitates the process of removing dead skin cells. As a result, collagen and elastin production is stimulated. These two components are two of the leading contributors to healthy, young-looking skin.
- Diminish Scarring
Depending on the depth of your scarring, glycolic peels can be very beneficial in diminishing or even eliminating the visible signs of scars. - Wrinkles and Fine Lines
There are a variety of options when it comes to treating fine lines and wrinkles with a glycolic peel. You can choose treatments ranging from superficial to deep in order to help reduce the visibility of these signs of age. - Reduce Pigmentation and Sun Damage
Whether your skin has recently been damaged by sun, or you have freckles or other undesired pigmentation, you can benefit from a glycolic peel. That being said, the effectiveness in this area depends on factors such as skin color and skin type. People with darker skin usually need to use the peel several times with a few weeks break in between to achieve noticeable results
A Glycolic Peel is available in a variety of strengths and is customisable to suit all skins. For optimal results, 2 series of 4–6 treatments per year is recommended.
Glycolic peels are also the fastest acting skin treatments available, and are often done on an outpatient basis. The effects can last up to a month and have been known to smooth out rough skin, slow down the aging process, restore the texture of skin damaged by the sun and regulate the balance of oily to dry skin in acne sufferers.

Pumpkin skin Peel
The pumpkin peel facial has ascended as a popular alternative to aggressive acid peels that have primarily been used. This squash like fruit when utilized for facial treatments is gentle in comparison and contains a diversified array of benefits to the skin.
Pumpkins have elevated concentrations of vitamins C, A, and Beta-Carotene. These antioxidant properties are a great source to help fight free radicals and aid in treating sun damage caused by overexposure. Pumpkins additionally contain healthy doses of zinc and potassium, which are an essential foundation to nourishing the skin. The natural enzymes and alpha hydroxyl acids found within a pumpkin help to exfoliate your skin and to lighten tone.
Depending on one’s skin type, whether it is normal, dry, oily, sensitive or combination skin, a pumpkin peel facial treatment can take up to 60 minutes to perform a thorough cleansing, moisturization and finishing on the face. Immediately following a treatment, the skin is immediately left feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. Healthy skin formulation will be promoted by the stimulation of collagen and elastin production resulting from the treatment. This type of peel is soft and there is no downtime.
Depending on the problem condition of the skin, a series of pumpkin peel facial treatments can be recommended. These treatments have been found to be effective at:

Post Treatment Care
Say NO to 3 of your skin’s most damaging agents:
SUN – apply SPF 40+ everyday regardless of whether you are in the sun or not. After any cosmetic treatment you are at HIGH risk of photosensitivity which can discolour skin and create brown sun spots. Avoid the sun and wear high SPF every day!
SMOKING – do not smoke, it will undo all the goodness of your cosmetic treatments, you will wrinkle more, age faster and your results are NOT guaranteed.
STRESS – Stress will lead to acne breakouts, and will dull and age your skin fast. Relax and enjoy your results!
- No peeling of your skin.
- No makeup for at least 5 days to a week, please let your skin breathe and rest.
- A red or pink hue similar to moderate sunburn may persist for 48 hours.
- It is okay to wash your face with tepid water few hours after the treatment (gentle shower falls on your face can be more convenient) to remove the dried blood and improve the appearance of the skin.
- Avoid any alcohol based toners or any skin care products as this will make your skin more dry and could irritate your newly treated skin.
- Choose chemical-free sunscreen, as this could irritate the skin and prolong recovery.
- Your skin will appear drier after the Peel treatment, you will need to hydrate your skin with hyaluronic acid. This is the best product to restore your skin’s perfect balance.
- Use soothing cleanser or baby face wash for cleansing – no exfoliating or facial wash with scrubbing beads until your face is healed.
- Keep your skin clean, hydrated and protected. Vitamin A products are highly suggested.
