Botox in Bali, what to check

Some questions belong before the first injection.

Booking Botox in Bali, far from the doctor who knows your face, is worth a little homework. Here are five things to check, from the licence to the aftercare, and our answer to each.

The licence

Botox® by Allergan is a prescription medicine, so check that a medical clinic gives it. We are a licensed one.

In Bali for more than 15 years, we give all four Botox treatments in Legian, Ubud and Canggu. At Canggu, Cocoon Medical Clinic is spelled out in gold on grey stone, beneath the butterfly.

The product

Ask which product will be injected, by brand name and maker. Ours is Botox® by Allergan.

Two awards recognise that choice: the pink Long Standing award for using authentic BOTOX, at the Aesthetic Summit 2024, and the BOTOX Platinum Award in 2026.

Ask the same of any skin booster on your list. A REVOK50 plaque names Cocoon an official certified provider.

The doctor

Ask who will give the injections, and when you meet them. Here, a doctor gives them.

There are eight doctors, a dermatologist among them, and you meet yours before anything is booked. For lines, your doctor asks you to frown and smile, and watches where each line forms.

The consultation

By the end of the consultation, you should know what Botox can and cannot do for you, what the risks are and what recovery involves. Then the decision is yours.

Tell your doctor everything you take, and about any Botox or filler you had at home in the last four months. Say if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
