Each 2 ml syringe of Revok50 carries 50 mg of hyaluronic acid, which draws in water and holds it. Its large molecules, at 2,200 kDa, are meant to break down slowly.
It is not used to add volume, so it gives none of the immediate contour or projection you would get from a volumising dermal filler. Your face keeps its shape.

Your visit
Your doctor cleanses the skin and may apply numbing cream first. Revok50 then goes in, point by point. You walk out with tiny raised bumps, which begin to settle within hours.
- Tell your doctor what you take, including blood thinners, and about previous skin treatments.
- Leave a few days before an important event, as bumps or bruising may still show.
- Avoid alcohol the day before, as it can increase bruising.
- Arrive with clean skin and no makeup.
- Do not rub or massage the treated areas for 24 hours.
- No makeup for the first 12 hours.
- No strenuous exercise, alcohol, hot showers, saunas or steam rooms for 24 to 48 hours.
- Mild skincare only for a few days, with no scrubs or exfoliating acids.
- Keep out of direct sun and wear sunscreen every day.
- Contact us if anything unexpected develops afterwards.
- Mention your medical history, allergies, supplements and any earlier injectables.
- Keep taking prescribed medicine unless its prescriber says otherwise.
- Pause retinoids and other strong actives for a few days, or as your doctor advises.
