Tui Na Shiatsu
Tight muscles and stiff joints are worked loose, and you walk out feeling lighter. Your therapist follows the meridian lines, blending Chinese Tui Na with Japanese Shiatsu.
- Duration
- 90 minutes
- Pressure
- Medium to firm, adjustable
- Available at
- Legian · Ubud · Canggu

Two traditions, one pair of hands
Thumbs, fingers and palms work across your body in a steady rhythm, kneading and rolling to warm the muscles, then pressing into the points that hold tension. The tightest places get more time. Where you are stiff, stretches and joint movements follow.

Your visit
First, your therapist asks how firm you like it and how freely your joints move. Some acupressure points can feel tender during the massage. None should cause sharp pain.
- Tell your therapist about injuries, surgery, sensitive areas and anything you would like avoided.
- Say if you are pregnant or have a medical condition, and we check the massage suits you.
- Do not arrive straight after a heavy meal.
- Drink water before and after, and go easy on alcohol either side.
- Ask for more or less pressure at any point.
- Take a moment to sit up slowly before you stand.
Is it right for you?
For when you are worn out from travel or training, and you like focused pressure.
Open wounds, an unhealed fracture, recent surgery, an acute injury, severe inflammation or late-stage osteoporosis means waiting or an adapted massage.
