How It Works
SKINVIVE™ contains modified hyaluronic acid, a moisture-attracting substance naturally present within the skin.
A doctor injects the gel as tiny microdroplets within the skin. Rather than adding projection or reshaping the face, the treatment distributes hydration across the selected area.
The added hyaluronic acid helps the skin retain its natural moisture and softness. This gradually improves skin smoothness and can create a healthier, more refreshed-looking glow.
SKINVIVE™ also contains a small amount of lidocaine to improve comfort during injection.

What to Expect
Your appointment begins with a consultation and skin assessment. Your doctor will discuss your concerns, assess the proposed treatment area and decide whether SKINVIVE™ is appropriate for your skin.
The skin is cleansed and marked before the product is administered through a series of small injections. The 1 ml gel is placed as microdroplets within the skin rather than deeply beneath it.
Small raised points, redness or mild swelling may appear immediately after treatment. These usually begin settling within several hours, although some tenderness, firmness or bruising may remain for a few days.
Preparing for Your Visit

Tell your doctor about your medical history, allergies, medication, supplements and previous injectable or skin treatments.
Mention any previous reaction to hyaluronic acid filler or lidocaine. You should also tell the doctor if you have recently had or are planning dental work, laser treatment, a chemical peel or another facial procedure.
Medication and supplements that affect bleeding may increase bruising. Do not stop prescribed medication unless advised by the doctor who prescribed it.
Avoid alcohol before your appointment and arrive with clean skin, preferably without makeup.

After Your Appointment
Aftercare
Avoid touching, rubbing or massaging the treated areas unless instructed by your doctor. Keep the skin clean and avoid makeup for approximately 12 hours.
For the first 24 hours, minimise strenuous exercise, alcohol, prolonged sun exposure and excessive heat. Avoid saunas, steam rooms and hot baths until any redness or swelling has settled.
Use gentle skincare and daily sun protection. Avoid laser treatments, chemical peels and other intensive facial procedures until your doctor confirms the skin has settled.

Important Considerations
Juvéderm® SKINVIVE™ must be administered by a qualified medical practitioner following a consultation and skin assessment.
Temporary injection bumps, redness, tenderness, firmness, swelling or bruising may occur and usually settle gradually. Treatment may not be suitable if you have certain allergies, an active skin infection or particular medical conditions, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Tell your doctor about medication, allergies and previous injectable treatments before your appointment. Contact the clinic if you experience unusual or worsening symptoms afterwards.
