Gloved hands giving a skin booster into the skin of the neck, below the jaw

Peptide Skin Booster

Hydration that builds, softness that stays.

Does your skin feel dry, or look dull and tired? A course of fine injections of hyaluronic acid and peptides can leave it softer and more supple. The change is gradual and natural, so people notice your skin, not that you’ve had something done.

A pink-gloved hand prepares the skin along the jaw with a cotton pad before treatment.

How it works: it hydrates without filling

Cross-linked, high-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid draws water into the skin and holds it there. Peptides, which are short chains of amino acids, act as signals in the processes that maintain your skin’s structure and appearance. The blend also carries vitamins, minerals and amino acids.

Nothing in the formula adds significant volume or changes the shape of your face, so you will not see the instant contour a dermal filler gives. This is skin quality, built up gradually.

Where it can be used

Face, Forehead, Around the eyes, Cheeks, Around the mouth, Neck

What to expect

  1. Within several days

    Some people notice the hydration.

  2. Over several weeks

Texture, elasticity and fine lines take longer. The result builds across three sessions, about four weeks apart.

  3. Day 1 to 3

Any redness, tenderness, swelling or bruising settles.

  4. After your course

The result stays visible for around six months.

Results vary, and your doctor will tell you what to expect for your own skin.

Your visit, step by step

  1. Before

    • Tell your doctor what you take, including blood thinners, and about previous skin treatments
    • Mention your medical history, allergies, supplements and any earlier injectables
    • Pause retinoids and other strong actives for about five days, or as your doctor advises
    • Leave a few days before an important event, as bumps or bruising may still show
    • Skip alcohol the day before, as it can increase bruising
    • Keep taking prescribed medicine unless the doctor who prescribed it says to stop
    • Arrive with clean skin and no makeup
  2. The day

Your skin is cleansed and numbing cream goes on first. Your doctor then gives the small injections point by point. Tiny raised bumps may show as you leave, and begin to settle within several hours.

  3. Your first two weeks

    Day 1
Mild redness, tenderness or swelling, and skin that feels dry or tight. No makeup for at least 12 hours
    First 24 hours
    No alcohol or intense workouts
    First 48 hours
No direct sun or tanning beds
    Days 2 to 3
Swelling often peaks, and small bumps, dryness or light peeling can show. Use mild, hydrating products only
    Days 4 to 5
Most redness and sensitivity settle, and the skin feels smoother. A bruise may still show
    Days 6 to 7
Most swelling and flaking have gone. Moisturiser, serums and a physical sunscreen can return
    Two weeks
Redness, bruising and swelling have usually cleared, and your full routine can come back gradually
  4. Aftercare

    • Do not rub or massage the treated areas for 24 hours
    • No saunas, steam rooms, hot showers or hot yoga for two to three days
    • No harsh products or exfoliants for five days
    • No AHAs, BHAs or retinoids for at least 7 days
    • Wear a high-SPF sunscreen every morning, even indoors
    • Contact us if anything unexpected develops
