Treatment on a Bali holiday
A doctor’s visit fits between the beach days.
Having treatment on holiday in Bali is easier when the order is planned before you land. Here it is, from a consultation on arrival to a massage before your flight home.

Day one or two, the consultation
Book the consultation before you fly, for your first or second day, and say which treatments you want. That way the right doctor is available.
Bring identification and a list of what you take, supplements included. For medical aesthetic treatments the consultation is complimentary, and an early one leaves room for what your doctor suggests.

Mid-trip, the medical treatments
Filler settles over one to two weeks, and your doctor reviews it then, so have it soon after the consultation. With Botox®, lines soften in one to two days, and the full result is judged at about 30 days, after a fortnight’s holiday has ended.
Laser and peels come before the beach, since a tan postpones a laser session. Afterwards, keep the skin out of direct sun.
Last days, massage and drips
After an injection, facial massage waits until your doctor says, and saunas, steam rooms and hard exercise wait 24 to 48 hours, as they do after a laser session. So the spa comes last.
A drip follows a medical assessment, and in Legian it runs beside a wall of salt bricks lit from behind.

The one with your treatment. Injectables, vitamin drips and Laser Hair Reduction are at all three, while other lasers and the dermatologist are in Legian.
Not before an injection, since alcohol the day before can mean more bruising. Around a massage, go easy on it and drink water either side.
